Sandy Lovick and David Lovick Jr. – Owners of Seven Travel Leaders Locations – Honored with National Award from Travel Leaders
Las Vegas, Nev. (June 18, 2018) – Twin Cities-based Travel Leaders Associates Sandy Lovick and David Lovick, Jr. were honored recently as the best among hundreds of Travel Leaders Network travel agency locations nationally. This is the third time they have been honored with the prestigious Travel Leaders “Associate of the Year” award, which is bestowed upon the Travel Leaders Associate franchisee who most epitomizes excellence in service to clients and effectively represents the Travel Leaders brand (TravelLeaders.com) over the course of the past year.
Together, Sandy Lovick and David Lovick, Jr., co-own the Travel Leaders “Market Square Travel” locations in Blaine, Maple Grove, Mendota Heights, Rochester, Stillwater, and Woodbury, MN, along with River Falls, WI. The two leaders received their award at EDGE: Educate, Discover, Gather, Evolve, which is the 2018 International Conference of Travel Leaders Network taking place in Las Vegas, at Caesar’s Palace.

The Lovicks’ Travel Leaders locations were established in 1979, the year Sandy Lovick entered the travel business. Five years later, she started Market Square Travel in a renovated warehouse space in the International Market Square building on the edge of downtown Minneapolis. The Lovicks joined Travel Leaders Network (then Ask Mr. Foster) in 1986, and have expanded their reach with six locations throughout the Twin Cities metro area and one in western Wisconsin. The Lovicks were first honored with Travel Leaders’ “Associate of the Year” award in 2008 and again in 2016. They also received Travel Leaders’ highest honor, the Golden Legacy Award, in 2009. In order to be considered for the Associate of the Year award, they first had to earn Travel Leaders’ “Agency of Excellence” award. Only 26 franchisees nationally were honored with that distinction in 2018.
