New York, NY (March 13, 2017) – Today, Travel Leaders Group is announcing the promotion of 17-year technology veteran Max Goldfarb to the role of Chief Technology Officer, reporting directly to Chief Information Officer Shoeb Ansari. He will be responsible for consolidating and streamlining Travel Leaders Group’s Information Technology organization encompassing Helpdesk, telephony, procurement, systems engineering, data platforms, network operations and information security. Goldfarb has most recently been serving as the Chief Information Security Officer for Travel Leaders Group.

“As our Chief Technology Officer, Max is poised to provide Travel Leaders Group with the best combination of experience in the business for travel domains, travel technology and IT infrastructure,” explained Ansari. “Mindful of our objective to further increase service delivery capabilities, set and maintain common service level agreements (SLA) across all of Travel Leaders Group, increase IT security and better align Center IT with the business, Max is the right leader at the right time to meet each of those demands.”

Goldfarb first joined the Travel Leaders Organization in June 2007, when he was first selected to serve as a Senior Systems Engineer within Protravel International. While he left the company in 2010, Protravel brought him back in October 2013 to oversee its growing IT needs. Over time, his responsibilities grew to also include oversight for Tzell Travel’s technology.
