Travel Leaders Group Promotes Darren Press to Vice President of Creative

Press has played a pivotal role in the development and implementation of innovative digital and traditional marketing campaigns since joining the company three years ago.

New York, NY (February 8,  2018) – Today, Travel Leaders Group announced that Darren Press was promoted to Vice President of Creative for Travel Leaders Group. Press joined the organization in June 2015 as Creative Director. As a key member within the marketing department, Press will continue to contribute to the company’s overall creative direction for innovative digital and traditional solutions that drive customer acquisition, consumer engagement and demand generation. His focus will remain on the company’s corporate and leisure travel brands and their respective B2B and B2C multi-channel marketing platforms, including online, print, email, direct mail, magazines, social, retail and video. Based in Alexandria, Virginia, Press reports to Travel Leaders Group’s Chief Marketing Officer Stephen McGillivray.

“In the short time that Darren has been with Travel Leaders Group, he has transformed the digital experiences for consumers and enhanced internal and external print publications in a way that has allowed us to reach new audiences and deliver more effective communications that showcase the breadth of what Travel Leaders can do for our member agencies and supplier partners.” said McGillivray.  “Darren has his finger on the pulse of the latest technologies and trends, which allows him to bring a strategic layer of innovation to our marketing campaigns.”

Several of Press’ digital design treatments have won Magellan Awards. His creative designs also played a significant role in Travel Leaders Network being named Royal Caribbean International’s 2017 Marketing Partner of the Year. Under Press’ leadership, the creative team led the design of TravelLeaders.com, ExploreAmaLife.com, MyRoyalAdventure.com, TLCorporateStore.com, iTravelBetter.com and Travel Leader Group’s rebranded Vacation.com, to name a few.

Press currently manages a team of designers, writers and creative strategists located in multiple offices across the country for Travel Leaders Group, one of the largest sellers of luxury travel, cruises, river cruises and tours in the travel agency industry.

Prior to joining Travel Leaders Group, Press was a Creative Director Consultant with Deloitte Digital, where he led creative direction and strategic concept development for clients such as Nestlé, Roche and HSBC. Earlier in his career, he created global communication and marketing experiences for brands, including Oakley and Warner Bros. Online, in addition to clients in a variety of industries, such as healthcare, entertainment and fitness, amplifying their brands, marketing platforms and customer experiences.
