01 Jul More Than $90K Raised for Travel Leaders Group’s Family Bonds Foundation
During Travel Leaders Network’s recent EDGE Conference, attendees donated to support travel industry personnel and others in local communities
NEW YORK, N.Y. (July 1, 2019) — Attendees at Travel Leaders Network’s recent EDGE Conference donated more than $90,000 through monetary contributions and a silent auction to support parent company Travel Leaders Group’s Family Bonds Foundation. The Family Bonds Foundation is a charitable organization designed to serve the needs of those who work in the travel industry as well as the broader community. Travel Leaders Group contributed a matching donation for the first $5,000 raised.

We count on the funds raised during EDGE to help support fulfillment of many of the grant requests we receive throughout the year,” Friedman added.
Friedman is pictured on stage during EDGE sharing the story of travel advisor Dee Busch of World Wine Safaris based in Paradise, CA whose home and place of business was destroyed during last year’s Camp Fire in California. A grant from Family Bonds helped Busch as she worked to rebuild her business.
