Baltimore-Area Travel Agent Honored Nationally with Employee of Excellence Award from Travel Leaders

Nadia Brushnefski Named Among Nation’s Best at 2017 International Conference.

Orlando, FL (April 29, 2017) — Today, a travel agent for the Travel Leaders agency in Bel Air, Maryland – which is also a branch of Tzell Travel – was singled out from thousands of travel professionals across the United States to receive Travel Leaders’ “Employee of Excellence” Award. Travel Leaders (www.travelleaders.com) is recognizing Nadia Brushnefski for her excellence and commitment to going above and beyond on behalf of her business travel clients and in mentoring fellow travel agents. Brushnefski was honored at the 2017 Travel Leaders Network International Conference held at Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando.

“Nadia has been in the travel business for over 15 years, with the last five years as one of the lead agents with our Bel Air Associate. In fact, she has become the #2 producer within the agency,” stated Roger E. Block, CTC, President of Travel Leaders Network, America’s largest retail travel agency company. “Nadia is talented, hardworking and provides international training for other travel agents to help them develop further in their roles. She is highly attentive to her clients and, for more than three years, Nadia has specialized in Humanitarian and Missionary travel, helping churches, organizations, and families focus on serving others around the world.”

Brushnefski has said she views her role as travel agent as more than just as job, but as a calling. Originally, she wanted to embark on a career in criminal justice and become a prison warden within the corrections system. But she discovered travel toward the end of her college years and switched her career choice. Displaying dedication to her professional development, Brushnefski has participated in Travel Leaders’ annual “Agent Boot Camp” for her region, twice winning the grand prize.  The boot camp is an engagement program in which Travel Leaders travel agents complete webinars and specialist certifications to increase their knowledge of offerings within the travel industry, so that they can better serve their clients’ needs.
