Added Success and Strength in Numbers: 53 New Member Agencies Join TL Network in Canada

Canadian membership keeps growing as momentum remains strong into 2017

Toronto, Canada (March 24, 2017) — TL Network Canada (TLNetwork.ca) – part of the travel industry’s largest travel agency organization – announced that it continues to gain momentum by increasing its Canadian membership with the addition of 41 new member agencies in 2016 and a steady increase of an additional 12 new member agencies in the first month of 2017. TL Network is comprised of more than one third of North America’s leading travel agencies and is now the largest seller of luxury travel, cruises, river cruises and tours in the travel agency industry. TL Network includes nearly 7,000 Associates and Member travel agencies locations in Canada and the United States.

TL Network Canada Vice President Christine James, who has long overseen the organization’s operations in Canada, previously known as Vacation.com, claims a targeted approach and the continued innovation of training enhancements are essential to recruiting new members.

“By creating unique value propositions for every agency, we continually demonstrate how TL Network’s enhanced commissions can positively impact their revenue,” said James. “The enormous value of a TL Network Canada membership is the key contributor to our prosperous membership growth.  We continue to provide our members with new products and tools, as well as ongoing enhancements to existing member and consumer facing technology solutions.  Our award-winning, proprietary Agent Profiler is one of the most sought after offerings new members want because its technological capabilities allow consumers to find agents based on their areas of expertise, blog posts and imagery, along with client ratings and reviews of their services.”

Among new member agencies joining TL Network Canada over the past year are: 17th Ave Travel Express, Inc.; AQSA Travel; B & B Cruise Holidays and Travel Professionals; Birak Travel; B-Side Travel; Cruise Wave Travel Ltd.; Custom Travel Solutions; Dash Travel; Dream Hunter Vacations Inc.; Far and Away Adventures; Fascinating Adventures International Inc.; GAJ Travel Agency; Gill & Schmall Agencies; Goel Travel and Tours Inc.; Harold Smith Travel Ltd.; India95.com; Jensen Travel; Jubilee Travel; Long Long Vacation Ltd; Mastertour Travel; Miles3 Travel Services; My Wedding Away (2); Nation West Travel Centre; National Travel Services; Oakridge Travel; Premiere Tours; Rostad Tours; South Beach Travel; Strider Golf Adventures; SunClub Vacations Inc.; TAJ Tours and Travel Inc.; The Travel Broker; The Travel Net; The Travel Specialist; Travel Support Inc.; Travel Your World International Ltd.; TUT Travel Inc.; Travelpack; Travel Your World International Ltd. (2); Trips Booker Canada; Universal Explorer; Vacation World Travel; Vision Travel Solutions (2); Voyages Groupe Ideal; West Alexander Travel.

Carlton Montaut, CEO of Mississauga’s Centre Holidays Inc., recently joined TL Network Canada because of the advanced technology and networking opportunities available to members. “We are big advocates of TL Network Canada and really look forward to the enhanced technology tools and training at the annual International Conference coming up in Orlando in May.  We see excellent value and exceptional benefits of being part of a large agency organization.”

“Since joining TL Network Canada, we now have a portfolio that offers more channels to book our clients with increased commissions, fantastic booking platforms and ongoing support from all the support staff in Canada,” said Cindy Hodge, Travel Consultant with Gill & Schmall Agencies in Manitoba.  “The hotel booking engines available to members have helped us close sales, because the product is usually available for sale. That compares with other tour operators that are unable to confirm or don’t even sell it.  For example, I checked all our tour operators for a property in Negril, Jamaica, and no one has it. So I’m now selling air only with WestJet and booking the hotel through pinSIGHT.  I would not have had this amazing opportunity before joining TL Network Canada.”
